Before reading about our Solva Holiday Cottages, let us tell you about this delightful village…

An introduction to Solva, a lovely village to visit from your holiday cottage!

Solva is Pembrokeshire’s shining gem, known for its active fishing harbour.

Solva harbour is a must see.  High tide, the beach is a narrow strip of water, where jumping off the harbour wall provides lots of fun.

At low tide, the harbour is completely dry, barring a stream, well known by locals as one of the best fishing and crabbing spots, perfect for the children, with hours of fun. The views of Solva are stunning, a place of haven for artists, photographers and art enthusiasts.

Another way to enjoy the Harbour, is Paddleboarding. Advise to use an adventure company if less experienced, TYF Adventure run adventures in and around the harbour. They also run doggy day adventures, so your whole family can join in.
